Mr. Workinger is a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam War.  Leaving the enjoyment of his family's farm, he entered the War just after the Tet Offensive and was greeted by dead bodies upon stepping off the airplane - something that a farmer's son from Ohio was not quite ready to endure.  Upon serving our country through his time in Vietnam, Workinger returned home to the family farm and continues to farm to this very day.  Over the years, Workinger has ministered to other veterans and inmates within various correctional facilities as a way of trying to help others, at times even having other men who are struggling in life live on the farm.  As the first recipient of Patios For Patriots, Workinger continues to be an ambassador for the organization.  Thank you Mr. Workinger for your service to our country.
